Discounted Tickets at Albertsons and Safeway
Discounted general admission tickets for Seafair Weekend are available for purchase at regional Albertsons and Safeway stores.
New Partnership with Cascade Bicycle Club
Bicyclists can ride their bikes to the North Gate at Genesee Park for 50% off admission to Seafair Weekend and complimentary bike storage, courtesy of Cascade Bicycle Club. They will also receive a voucher for a non-alcoholic beverage.
Transit in 3 Easy Steps
1a. Park in the University of Washington E12 & E19 lots, just south of Husky Stadium:
$15 on Friday
$10 on Saturday until 12 p.m. Free on Saturday after 12 p.m. Free all day Sunday
1b. Park in the Sea-Tac Airport Garage or at a convenient Sound Transit Link Light Rail station.

3. Free 5-minute Event Shuttle to the Seafair Weekend Main Gate! 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

New Partnership with Lyft and Uber
To make sure people can get home safely from Seafair activities, the City of Seattle is partnering with Lyft to provide discounted rides to new Lyft users during Seafair weekend August 5-7. Simply click on https://www.lyft.com/invite/safeseafair or use the promo code SAFESEAFAIR in the app on your phone. The code offers up to $50 in credit (10 rides, up to $5 in value).
Also during Seafair weekend, new and existing Uber riders can safely and affordably share their ride to and from festivities at Genesee Park by entering the promo code SEAFAIR2016 in the Uber app. The code offers 2 free uberPOOL rides, each up to $10 in value.
The collaboration with Lyft and Uber is part of Seattle’s Vision Zero plan to end traffic deaths and serious injuries on city streets by 2030.

Hyperlite Wakeboard Experience Media Opportunity

Hyperlite Donates 500 Life Jackets
For the sixth year in a row, Hyperlite will donate more than 500 life jackets (valued at up to $40,000) throughout Seafair Weekend. They will be given away at designated times at the Hyperlite Wakeboard Experience.
Bolt on the Blue Water Ski Race
This year, a brand new racing series makes a splash and will turn more than a few heads: Bolt on the Blue Water Ski Race presented by Overload Productions. Water ski racing has gained massive momentum all over the world with elite racers reaching speeds of up to 100 MPH! The water ski race expo will take place on Lake Washington, highlighting top racers of the world. If you like what you see this year, get pumped for the 20th Annual World Water Ski Racing Championships to be held during Seafair 2017. More information can be found at Seafair.com/waterski.
Jordan Babineaux Filming Friday at Seafair Weekend
Keep your eyes open for Seafair’s King Neptune, Jordan Babineaux, roaming around Genesee Park on Friday. The former Seahawks player is producing content for the Seahawks Digital Media team. Babineaux is creating four episodes of a show called “What’s in the City” that will air during the Seahawks pre-season games this month.
TV and Radio Coverage
Non-stop coverage starts at 9 a.m. on KIRO 7, the KIROTV.com livestream and the KIRO 7 mobile app. More than a dozen cameras will capture three hydroplane races, two major air shows (including the iconic U.S. Navy Blue Angels), wakeboarding and stand up paddle boarding. You can also tune in to KIXI AM 880, Warm 106.9FM HD-2, or live stream from http://live.kixi.com/listen/ at 10AM on race day to catch all of the day’s hydro action, along with race team interviews, special features – and the always exciting race calls of the day’s final heats. Race day coverage will conclude with the presentation of the 2016 Albert Lee Appliance Seafair Cup trophy live from the Stan Sayres Pits.
