Viking Days

  • Come early and enjoy a Swedish pancake breakfast and then check out the salmon bake for lunch!
  • Eat your way through five Scandinavian countries and drink at the Valhalla Beer Garden!
  • Entertainment on three different stages plus a Viking Encampment with weaving, weapon forging and war.

The Nordic Heritage Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and educating the people of Seattle about the legacy of immigrants from the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Join them as they present Viking Days, the last Seafair community event of the summer!

First order of the day is to come hungry! Start with a Swedish pancake breakfast then choose between the salmon bake, five countries worth of food at the Food Hearths, Sausages and Alaskan Pollock burgers at the Viking Grill and don’t miss the Valhalla Beer Garden!

While you are eating be entertained by live music and entertainment on three different stages. And don’t miss the Viking Encampment with weaving, weapon forging and war!

  • Saturday, August 21, 2016 to Sunday, August 22, 2016 – Nordic Heritage Museum, Ballard
